Storyline

I am from Uruguay and began studying piano and music theory at eight years old. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in 2015 from the UdelaR. As well, I studied with Professor Stanimir Todorov in Buenos Aires and Roberto Martinez del Puerto in Montevideo. In 2017 I won the AMEXID full scholarship in Mexico and finished my master’s degree with honors at the University of Science and Arts of Chiapas (UNICACH) with professor Vladan Kočí. Currently, I am doing a Doctorate in music with Prof. Dennis Parker and working as his teaching assistant at Louisiana State University. I have worked at the OSSODRE National Symphonic Orchestra and taught music at the University of the Republic in Uruguay. As a cellist, I was principal of MEC Chamber Orchestra, Academic Chamber Orchestra of Montevideo, the Latin American Philarmonic Chamber Orchestra, and MEC Youth Orchestra. I had performed as a soloist with the Loja Symphonic Orchestra, Academic Chamber Orchestra, and MEC Chamber Orchestra.
